Knowing more ... Rachel Shelley part 1

Hello girls LesPlanet, as I promised you today we will know a little more Rachel Shelley, ours, the Helena Peabody what inspired us many feelings along these 5 seasons, the first thing we do not fell well, then we started to love each Again.

Rachel Shelley was born in Swindon, England, August 25, 1969. He grew up in London town to which she moved from Swindon at the age of one year. At present lives in Notting Hill.

She studied at the University of Sheffield and graduated with BA (Honours) in English and Drama (equivalent to a greater or lesser degree).

Rachel has a solid career as an actress in the UK are primarily related to the theatre, cinema and television. She has filmed several successful movies such as "Photographing Fairies" in 1997 with Ben Kingsley, "Everybody Loves Sunshine" with David Bowie in 1999 and "Lagaan" in 2001 for which he received a nomination for an Oscar as Best Foreign Film in 2002.

In 2004 audition for the role of "Helena Peabody" "The L Word" role that she continues to play successfully and at present, having already signed for a sixth and final season of the series.

While participating in "The L Word" has done other work as 2 episodes of the TV series "Ghost Whisperer" and, "Gray Matters" with Heather Graham and has just finished filming a British horror film entitled "The Day".

also has written 3 articles for the "Guardian" and has filmed ads 4.

Rachel starred in the 2006 movie Gray Matters that relates to a young woman discovering her sexuality. Gay portrays a character named Julia Bartlett, returning at the rate of its role as Helena since the second season of "The L Word", interpreting a businesswoman art with a negative attitude toward the artist at the beginning (as Helena and Bette) after that changes. The difference is that she never rolled with Bette.

Along with four friends from college started on the crowd Theater in Sheffield which lasted one year before they go to London.

The Rachel's favorite book is "Of Human Bondage" a novel by William Somerset Maugham.

The first mascot was a dog crossed Rachel named Samantha.

The favorite movies are "Three Colours Red" the end of the famous trilogy by Krzysztof Kieslowski and "Moulin Rouge".

Rachel filmed in most expensive Bollywood movie ever filmed in India, "Lagaan: Once upon a Time in India" which was nominated for an Oscar as best foreign film.

The film career of Rachel began in 1994 when it first appeared in "Royce" with James Belushi.
