Sweden go to equality

Hi, dear inhabitans of our wonderful planet, while continuing the fight that exists at the moment in several states of North America, due to the rejection of gay marriage, ironically across the world has taken a big step in that same case, it makes us see a light at the end of the road to equality.

Sweden, one of the most liberal countries in the world, will approve gay marriage in 2009, but not only civil marriage, but also the religious marriage. The adoption of the law is scheduled for May 2009.

This fact will differ with respect to all countries that have already adopted the law of marriage between same sex, as is the case in Spain.

Swedish law would allow weddings can be held and recorded directly by the Lutheran Church, the Church of Sweden majority.

The Swedish government, supported by a coalition of four center-right parties led by Moderate Party will allow this. Of the parties in the governing coalition, only the Democratic Party is opposed, but their votes are not essential for passing the law, which will also have the support of the Social Democratic Party, now in opposition.

Will reform the Civil Code eliminating the terms "husband" and "wife" and using neutral language, so that the legal framework will be exactly the same regardless of whether the marriage contract as a heterosexual or homosexual couple.

Thus, Sweden will join the group of countries, including Canada, Holland, Belgium, South Africa, Norway and Spain, where it is legal gay marriage.

If ladies, is excellent news, equality is possible ...
